Why-Health ?!?!

Whyville.net is a virtual, gaming-based world focused on children, with 6.3 million registered users, most between the ages of 9 and 15.

Your challenge is to develop a graphical data mashup, a game, or some other interactive digital resource that makes health related data accessible, understandable and actionable by our young users. As part of this project, Whyville will provide a link to your creation, as well as a mechanism for our users to rate and comment on your efforts. Links will be provided through the Whyville Game Arcade and specially designated as part of the Health 2.0 project. We would especially encourage contestants to engage our users in the process of development.

Whyville reserves the right to decline any entry deemed inappropriate for our young audience, but otherwise would like to encourage full creativity and imagination in contestants. Contest winners will be selected by our users. Winning entries and designers will be promoted through Whyville to the hundreds of thousands of children, parents and teachers who are regular participants in our virtual learning world.
